Our Team

Melissa is a doctor of physical therapy with over 17years of experience in pediatric sports and orthopedic rehabilitation. She is dual board certified in orthopedics and sports physical therapy. Her clinical passion is in the treatment of the young athletes, not simply to rehab an injury but to set the stage for healthy development and longevity in sport across their lifespan.

Her clinical specialties include pediatric overuse injuries, growth plate injuries and post-operative orthopedic care. She also has extensive knowledge of pediatric complex pain conditions including complex regional pain syndrome, POTS and dysautonomia.

Outside of clinical practice, Melissa is a passionate runner and recreational yogi. She enjoys spending time outdoors walking and paddle boarding. She and her husband Jan also stay active trying to keep up their two energetic young boys.
